My RBs13

Sun Sep 13, 2015 10:32 pm

Bought this baby couple of month ago.
-90's 200sx s13 with an RB25det.

Looked like this when I bought it:

Engine swap, 300zx front brakes, stripped, lexan rear windows, welded diff, homemade steerlock kit w/ modiefied control arms and alu subframe bushings was installed by the prev owner.
Engine is pretty much stock. ARP Bolts, Cometic gasget and an modified Mine's ECU.
Haven't had it on a Dyno yet but its estimated to around 300-350hp.

Currently in the process of building it my style tho imo it looked like shit when I bought it. (only bought it becouse the engine swap pretty much)

The first thing I Installed was some new fenders, +20mm front and +50mm in the rear, then full japspeed suspension arms and Driftworks Geomasters hubs in the rear, and driftworks CS2 coilovers all around.
Bought a set of Weds Kränze Bazeria and a set of Works VsKF.
Just got my new D-max hood and roofwing and installed it yesterday. (Y)

This is how my baby sits as we speak:

Still alot to do on it. But Im having fun both on it and in it. ^^
An fast little vid I took before I started rebuilding it. :)

I personally don't see a huge point of getting it street legal. Drift cars aint really fun to drive daily. I'd say go full rollcage and have proper safety equipment. My brother rolled his drift car at a local drift event a few years ago which was kinda a street car and had no cage in it. He was inches away from getting his head smashed.
So yeah, I'd invest money into safety, so you could use the full potential of the car and have fun with it ;)

Nice kit btw. I would've probably order the same one :P

"Drift cars aint really fun to drive daily"

Well that's your opinion. I daily drove my S13 with coilovers, welded diff and a straight pipe in 2012 and it was amazing.
Where did you order the BN Sports kit? I need a new type 3 front bumper

Randz:
i could go full rollcage and still get it legal (wich I plan btw). Might be bolt in cage but have to see the regulations. And its a big IF, if i cant get it legal, since the power to weight ratio is waaay off with the ecu. gona have to try to put it on lowest boost and try to see but need a dyno to be sure. :)

Endless:
I orderd mine from EPRacing. (fakes i know but cheeper to smash them up ;) )
But they dont have type 3 on their site, only type 2.

[quote="Endless"]Well that's your opinion. For what you described you drove, I agree it was more of a pleasent drive for you  :D

Also bolted cages are quite weak and most drift series regulations don't allow them for competitions. Also when daily driven and lets say you get in a crash, then rollcages are quite dangerous if you don't have helmet and harnesses on ;)

Ah, I have a spare bn sports rear bumper and front fenders from EPracing and the fitment is so bad, it makes me want to cry. :( 3cm gaps between the front fenders and the doors.

Also, @ Randz, I totally agree man.

Pink just got his bodykit yesterday if I`m not wrong.
I assume he is going to post it soon.

Looks great, but he was talking about fitment issues too.

yeah, Got it yesterday and have fitment issue on the sideskirts, missing 1,5-2cm for it to fit between the wheelarches.
the overall fitment werent the greatest either, but i didnt expect anything else either since its not a legit one. prolly gona smash it up pretty soon anyway.  :D
