Sooo, after a 4(Maybe 3? I dunno  ::) ) I'm BACK, and with added maturity. When I joined here I was something like 9 or 10(My god I was stupid...). As of now I'm 14.5, and hoping to get my license next year. Anyhoo, I decided to give modmaking a try, and here is what I ended up with in a day(Plus an evening before to figure out how to use the software...):

I'm going to be honest, that is the worst abomination I have ever seen in my dang life... Anyway, the model was a bit annoying, the windows were inside out so I had to delete them out of frustration. Also, there were strange hidden lines of polys in between body panels, so they are seperated. I was wondering where I can get nice clean unconfusing models such as the one in Renes tut(If anyone knows).

Also, I would like to apologize for all the crap I pulled when i was here before, and I hope you guys can find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Peace :)

There are a couple of Shift, Forza and other game models available here - http://driftmods.net/forums/mod-support ... /#msg14998

Recommending Shift 1/2 models since they are cleaner than Forza ones.

Zmodeler 2.2.5 or above is required for initial Shift 2 car import, otherwise feel free to use Zmodeler 2.2.4 (regarding Shift 1 models). You have to extract Shift 3d files via QuickBMS first, though. Simple stuff, app links included in the above link.

One question, I got a BFF file, is that compatible with 3DS Max or will I have to go through Zmodeler?

Extract the bff files with quickbms, import the extracted files in zmodeler 2.2.4/2.2.5 and then export .3ds for 3ds max usage.
