We have just manually upgraded the forum to phpBB 3.2 and have moved from HHVM to php7. This is the last big change we will be doing until php7.1. You should be able to notice the better response times immediately.
Version 3.2 of phpBB should be a very big change code-wise, so if you come across any problems, please let us know in this thread.

I hope so. I expect more people to upgrade to phpBB 3.2 today (the official release was a few hours ago).
The media extension (which isn't working right now) is a very popular extension so I hope someone will come up with a fix.
