How to take original mod (XR.vob) as .mrt file from DATA/VEH using lfs car importer by magnot?

Vob files can't be converted to .mtr format via car importer. What do you have in mind btw? If you need any default cars, i can upload the cmx viewer 3d models.

I use rangel tool to create my mods , q will have a problem??

Yes Gen Black ;)

Gen Black export Veh to obj with python 2.5
With LFSci : mods don't work on 0.6B
with Gen Black : mods work on 0.6B

YOu can get it on ***.com (Sry for the pub ><)

So we can get original LFS cars' model with no glitchy surface?

Imo the only thing one gets using gen_black is a half assed piece of shiz. Rangel should rework the script since it now smooths every modified bit and you have to chamfer everything to get visible edges. I have extracted all cmx viewer models to .max and they are just fine after import in max. I can upload an archive if anyone is interested.

Material are already setted or we will need to set it ourself ?

No lfscimp materials, unfortunately, just the cmx ones. After you convert a model to editable poly you can separate the parts according to the cmx materials (selecting the material IDs via the Polygon Material ID box located in the lower part of the Modify tab). I'll post a download link in a new topic so the archive is easier to find.

I make mods with Gen_black and I see no problems (so far I have not had)
I learned not to mess LFSCI T_T

but you could put the .3ds download the scirocco?

Do you use 3ds max or zmodeler? I'm using 3ds max 2009 and everything smooths out ingame, don't know if its the max obj exporter or else. Wheels are fine though. Will upload the vw in a moment, let me convert to 3ds.
